Final Product: Rural and Frontier LBOH New Member Toolkit

NevadaLBOHSldBlu1

Holy smokes! Building this toolkit took far longer than I ever expected, but it’s finally done!

If you want to check it out, it can be found on the Western Region Public Health Training Center website here.

There were several reasons for the delay, but mostly I found myself revising the content as I kept stumbling upon more great materials I wanted to include. However, for the sake of bevity, I found myself having to then remove content, message the whole thing back together, and… repeat. Also, if I was more skilled at recording and editing video, I could’ve cut quite a bit of time off of my timeline.

Before you jump in to the content, here’s a few notes about it:

  • This toolkit is not intended to be an in-depth training. Each module re-iterates important ideas introduced previously and ties them to new concepts.
  • It was a struggle trying to keep the videos under 10 minutes (I tend to be long-winded). This means that some complex concepts are heavily simplified. Again, this is meant to introduce the lay person who may not have a health background to these ideas.
  • I’m totally open to feedback! Please leave a comment regarding anything you’d like to see added, deleted, or otherwise changed.
